Taoism videos / Chapter 10 C. Caution! You & Hologram

A mirror is an ideal metaphor to illustrate the circulation of the fundamental energy between you and your hologram.

Caution!

You and your hologram are not in fact separated.

Exactly like Yin and Yang, those two entities are one in reality because everything is one.

To make it easy to understand the mechanism of Tao, we use the two words "you" and "your hologram".

Once you have understood how it works, please abandon this dichotomy and think everything is one.

When you stand in front of a mirror, you can see your image on it.

Your face deflects light first. The deflected light is reflected on the surface of the mirror. Then the reflected light goes into your eyes and you can recognize your face on the mirror.

Tao's holography is exactly the same.

You emit (=deflect) the fundamental energy (=Tao) and create your hologram (=the world in front of you).

Then, you can see your hologram reflecting what you think.

While seeing the image of your reflected thought, you receive the fundamental energy through it.

In short, you emit the energy and receive it.

You can also say, "You send Love and receive it".

Its names have no consequence.

You send and receive it. This circulation of the fundamental energy is the most important of all.

We exist for its circulation.

This is Zen Buddhists' circle and the wheel of Yin and Yang.

When you think that everything, including ourselves, is a hologram, which is an illusion, you can fairly say that the fundamental energy is the sole existence.

Our raison d'être is to just keep the wheel going round.

If you find the conclusion too nihilistic to agree to, why don't you think it as a device.

It doesn't matter if it is true or not, but, if you think the world is just a catalyst to send more love, the things going on around you will have much less importance.

You don't have to get upset about the nasty attitude of your boss or what you see on TV news.

This thought device will let you accept the hard floating world Ukiyo much more easily.

In any case, you shouldn't feel so pessimistic about the conclusion.

If your own self is an illusion, who are YOU really?

Everything in the world is a hologram. Only Tao the fundamental energy exists.

So, you must be the fundamental energy. You are Tao. You are Love. Don't worry.
