Tao Te Ching Chapter 13-5
Disgrace
You regard disgrace as something bad. (Ch.13)

♦  ♦  ♦

Judgement is one of the least wanted things in Taoism.

Simply, you don't need

it.

Be like a baby.

A baby doesn't judge.

If you don't judge, "disgrace" doesn't exist.

KEYWORDS

Certainly «Genji Monogatari / The Tale of Genji» is a classic. Nevertheless, it is not a history yet. In a modern Japan with Play Station and Manga, you can see the incessant resurrection of the famous story by Murasaki Shikibu (Lady Murasaki, which means Lady Purple). The video game on the left has nothing to do with the aristocratic life of a seducer prince, though. When I was a child, I thought the same thing. I imagined that «The Tale of Genji» might be a story of samurais who lived in the time of the confrontation between Heike and Genji families. I ignorantly thought that it could be a Genji version of «Heike Monogatari / The Tale of Heike».

Tao Te Ching Chapter 13-6
Get
When you get it, it excites you. (Ch.13)

♦  ♦  ♦

When you get something, you may feel positive.

"Be positive!"

People say this so

often.

But what do they mean by "positive"?

If we didn't have something negative, something positive couldn't

exist!

Why don't we stop judging once and for all?

You don't have to be positive.

You don't have to be negative, either.

Lose
When you lose it, it excites you. (Ch.13)

♦  ♦  ♦

When you lose something, how do you feel?

You feel negative?

Wait a minute.

There is neither positive nor negative.

Yin and Yang is the head and tail of the same coin.

Can you give me only the head side of a penny, please.

Like excitement
This is called that favor and disgrace are like excitement. (Ch.13)

♦  ♦  ♦

Favor and disgrace are the same in nature.

They exist to stimulate your emotion.

They are catalysts, or triggers.

Judgement is excitement.

It is a catalyst, too.

The world, the prayer wheel, your hologram; all of them are

catalysts.

Trouble = Body
What does it mean by saying that big

trouble is like your body? (Ch.13)

Big trouble is like your body?

Can you use your trouble like your body?

Well, the question is more like "Can you use your body at all?".

No one can control his intestines and heart as he likes, but they are there for him.

So is his big trouble.
