Defeat

Tao Te Ching Chapter 29-1
Obtain the world
Precisely if you want to obtain the world under the sky and do anything to it, I know you will never attain it. (Ch.29)

♦  ♦  ♦

If you want to control your hologram (=the world under the sky), don't act on it directly because it is often counterproductive.

KEYWORDS

"Kokoro" is a Japanese word without any English equivalent. Sometimes, it is translated as mind. Sometimes, as heart. Often, mind and heart confuse a Japanese when he finds out that the two English words are not the same. It seems to me that the definition of the word "kokoro" covers all but material things. It may sound strange to an English speaker, but logic does not belong to the area of "kokoro". To the Japanese, logic is something "fake" and not sincere. It is part of the material world.

Tao Te Ching Chapter 29-2
A god’s vessel
The world under the sky is a god's vessel. Don't do anything to it. (Ch.29)

♦  ♦  ♦

Your hologram is created by you.

A god's vessel is your vessel because you are a god, because you are Tao.

You may wonder how you can control it.

By doing nothing, you can transform your hologram (=the world) through Dark Depth (=Tao).

Doing nothing means accepting all.

This attitude is called Dark Depth Female.

Tao Te Ching Chapter 29-3
Defeat it
If you do something to it, you will defeat it. (Ch.29)

♦  ♦  ♦

It is "defeat" in the sense of breaking something.

If you do something directly to your hologram, you will create resistance.

The more resistance you create, the less energy circulates.

Your hologram doesn't function then.

It is like breaking something perfect.

Tao Te Ching Chapter 29-4
If you stick to it
If you stick to it, you will lose it. (Ch.29)

♦  ♦  ♦

"Let's stick to it!"

People like this kind of expression.

These days, even the word "obsession" is no longer a pejorative.

But, if you stick to something, you are refusing to change.

Life is a prayer wheel.

Let it turn around.

Tao Te Ching Chapter 29-5
Lead
Some things lead. Some follow. (Ch.29)

♦  ♦  ♦

Some lead change.

Others follow the change.

The world is your hologram.

It is your prayer wheel.

It is there to turn around.

You are there to turn it around.

Don't worry about who's leading the change and who's following it.

It is the least important.

Tao Te Ching Chapter 29-6
Blow gently
Some blow gently. Some blow hard.

(Ch.29)

♦  ♦  ♦

When some blow hard, some blow gently.

This world loves balance.

The gentlest touch is, in fact, the hardest hit.

Do you want to accomplish something with the minimum of energy?

You know the answer, I suppose.

The gentler, the harder.

Logically, doing nothing is the hardest.

Rozalia travels alone. Young Rozalia travels from Romania to France to Brazil. She is half Jewish and half Christian and she narrowly escapes from inhumane atrocities. What does she want in life? Her soul just wants to fly, fly like a sensual angel. She is looking for a heavenly beach where people smile and dance with no fear and no regret. The novel is highly recommended.

Richard Ellmann, who is the biographer of W. B. Yeats and James Joyce, meets the Lady who makes beautiful Oscar Wilde Playing Cards. It's a true story.
