Non-life

Tao Te Ching Chapter 50-1
Life non-life
Leave life and enter

non-life. (Ch.50)

♦  ♦  ♦

"Leave" your hologram

and "enter" Tao.

Having said that, you

don't have to do anything particular to

do it.

First, your own self cannot leave life.

Master Dogen illustrates this with a good metaphor of a fish in the

water in his Shobogenzo. (Genjokoan 現成公案)

Self cannot live outside your hologram.

Second, true You, which is Tao, are already in non-life.

Life is a hologram, which you project. True You are not part of it.

"Leave life and enter non-life" means "remember these".

Tao Te Ching Chapter 50-2
Life
Men of life are three in ten. (Ch.50)

♦  ♦  ♦

30 percent of people

are obsessed with

"life", Lao Tzu said.

Compared to his time,

the number has gone

up considerably, I

suppose.

It is about time we changed the tendency.

Your life is just a catalyst and hologram.

True You exist outside it.

In other words, your own feelings, thoughts and body come along

with the sky, the sea, and the news on TV.

You don't own them.

Therefore, you don't have to suffer from them.

Non-life
Men of non-life are three in ten. (Ch.50)

A: "I want to live

forever. What should I

do, Master Bonbon?"

B: "If you want to buy

my elixir of life, you

have to join our pyramid scheme."

You must not join any pyramid scheme to buy some elixir of

immortality.

Lao Tzu says here that 30 percent of people are obsessed with the

fear of leaving this world.

Don't worry.

Life is a hologram you project.

Once you accept that Self does not exist, you don't have to worry

about the end of your own self any longer.

Tao Te Ching Chapter 50-4
Survival
The life of a man

moves and goes to a

desperate situation

without any hope of

survival. There are

also three in ten.

(Ch. 50)

Do you understand

what Today's Tao sentence means?

Well, it means:

"30 percent of people tend to put themselves in a difficult situation."

Haven't you ever seen a dragonfly or a bee hitting itself on the

window, not realizing that there is glass there.

According to Lao Tzu, 30 percent of people find their life (=their

hologram) sort of "a desperate situation without any hope of

survival".

But you don't because you know it is a catalyst and hologram.

Life simply stimulates you to emit more Love (=the fundamental

energy Tao).

Tao Te Ching Chapter 50-5
Thick of life
Why is it so?

Because they live the

thick of life. (Ch. 50)

♦  ♦  ♦

Most people are

obsessed with either

living or the end of it.

Or, they think life is a

constant suffering.

Why is it so?

Because they are too attached to life. They are stuck in their

hologram.

"Leaving Life"

"Entering Tao"

"Being one with Tao"

"Satori"

They are saying the same thing.

Learn that life is a catalyst and hologram and live it while receiving

and sending Love (=the fundamental energy Tao).
