The life of man is soft and weak.

The end of the life of man is hard and strong.

The life of everything; grasses or trees, is soft and fragile.

The end of its life is dry and withered.

Therefore, those who are hard and strong are men of non-life.

Those who are soft and weak are men of life.

Hence, if your army is strong, you will never win.

A strong branch of a tree will surely be snapped.

The strong and big stays low.

The soft and weak stays high.

Life is a hologram. It is intangible (="soft and weak") no matter how firmly you believe otherwise.

At the end of our life, we think that the body gets "hard" and petrified (="strong"). Nevertheless, nothing solid exists in our hologram (=the world). Neither does "the end" of anything since Tao has nothing to do with time. There is neither beginning nor end in Tao. Time is an idea you establish in your mind.

All your holograms are intangible.

When things are alive, they are not "dry and withered". Tao is the constant recreation of existence without time and space. Nothing is "dry and withered" in Tao. There isn't the end of your hologram. How can a thing end if time doesn't exist?

Therefore, something "hard and strong" is an illusion in your mind. The expression "non-life" can be interpreted either "out of the hologram" or "the end of life". Here, it is used to signify the latter. At the end of a man's life, we believe that his body becomes "hard and strong". The stiffness is an illusion. So is the concept of "end". Tao has no end.

Those who accept that life is a hologram and therefore intangible, can live a true life. It is to receive and emit the maximum of the energy Tao.

Hence, be weak if you want to win. This is the principle of Dark Depth Female. (☞See Reverse Thinking as well) Avoid any type of control over your hologram if you want to transform it as you like. That's what "do nothing" means.

Be weak and do nothing if you want to change your hologram. If you are strong and work hard, you cannot be detached from your hologram (=the world).

Tao is the only one that is truly "strong and big". It stays in the shadow of all the visible phenomena (=your hologram).

Your hologram is intangible. It stays at the surface of the visible phenomena. It is superficial although it contains Tao's energy. You don't have to be concerned about it. Just accept and love it. If you cannot help changing it, be weak and soft, use Dark Depth Female and do nothing.

Is quicksand the softest? Probably not. But many Japanese novelists may agree that the skin of a young woman is as soft as water, at least poetically. The «Quicksand» on the left is the English translation of Junichiro Tanizaki's «Manji». It has nothing to do with World War 2. The novel first appeared in a magazine in 1928. The manji, or the Buddhist cross, symbolizes a bisexual relationship among two men and two women.  谷崎潤一郎 「卍」
