Here it is. This «Tao Te Ching» translation is the one that «Tao by Naoto Matsumoto» truly recommends. If you have difficulty in understanding the translation of Tao Te Ching you are reading or feel frustrated in terms of the application of Taoism to everyday life, it might be worth checking this one. With the help from C. G. Jung and Heidegger, the author Chuang Chung-yuan built an excellent philosophical bridge between the West and Taoism, which will surely help you walk across the gap created by translation and provide good preparatory reading. Unfortunately, you have to be very lucky to obtain a copy in good condition. Chuang Chung-yuan's «Tao, a new way of thinking: A translation of the Tao te ching, with an introduction and commentaries (Harper colophon books ; CN 356)» was published in 1977.
