☞"Lao Tzu's «Tao Te Ching» 老子「道徳経」 doesn't have much detailed information!" "Zen Master Dogen's «Shobogenzo» 道元禅師「正法眼蔵」 is too abstract to apply the teachings in life!" If you are looking for something in the midway between the two highly recommended books, «Chuang Tzu 荘子» is worth checking. Like «Tao Te Ching», the book is not so genuine as «Shobogenzo» in terms of the authenticity of the original. Stories and comments were not written solely by Chuang Tzu although he is supposed to have been a real person rather than an imaginary one or a name for the collective wisdom. Some recommend only «The Inner Chapters 内篇» of «Chuang Tzu», but you can find quite a few interesting reading materials in the other chapters as well. For example, you can find in «The Outer Chapters 外篇» the passage quoted in Tao by Matsumoto video blog
