53. Thief's luxury

[Chapter 53 / English Translation] - click the line to watch the related video.
If I have the least intelligence while travelling big Tao, I am fearful of going sideways.

Big Tao is very flat, but people prefer small shortcuts.

The court is very clean.

The field is very wild.

The granary is totally empty.

Some wear a beautiful dress with a sharp sword, tired of eating and drinking, having too much money.

This is called a thief's luxury.

A thief's luxury is not Tao.

Rapid Decoded
Intelligence is misleading. Following Tao doesn't require intelligence. Rather, it is a hindrance.

Following Tao is easy, but some people prefer a more complicated way of living.

Don't judge any even if some are rich.

Don't judge any even if some are poor.

Don't judge any even if some are starving.

Don't judge any even if you face excessive wealth.

After all, "a thief's luxury" is part of your hologram.

Your hologram is a manifestation of Tao, but not Tao itself.

-"Is a geisha truly a p,.........?"

No, it means "artist", literally. She
is an artist of the Taoist way of
  living.

-"What Does Nintendo mean?"

-"Frustrated?"

Why don't you think the other way
  round?

-"I am not happy about how I look."

There are a few things to think
  about.

-"Are you scared of seeing your
  reports?"

  To forget about statistics.

☞The best and easiest way to comprehend the depth of contemporary Japanese gastronomy is to read «Oishinbo 美味しんぼ». This is the selected translation of a voluminous series of manga about food in Japan. Not only Japanese food, but any food. The one on the right «Izakaya 居酒屋» will tell you why the expression "pub food" is not a pejorative in the floating world Ukiyo. The book on the left is about «The Japanese cuisine».
